Elephant Talk No.1 started playing in the early nineties. Their first tunes were inspired by Irish folk reels and certainly the music had this flavour, but with an eclectic jazzy feel too.

Around 1994 I joined the band and introduced the FUNK factor which made the music more groove orientated. We managed together to compose several tunes which were then made into a CD by the title of In a Big Sea. Hard to imagine that was 13 years ago!

Unfortunately all good things come to an end at some point and I left the band in 96.

Mood-Swing_Symphonix

Mood Swing is a moody kind of track and was created by the Symphonix team. This tune does not contain any vocals and mainly consists of drums, bass, keys and assorted thingami jigs.

Hopefully our next podcast will be more in line with FUNK! and the feeling of Spring... if you live in the Northern Hemisphere.

This track is a solo production by PW aka congapaul from his New Horizons CD, and features keys, percussion, drums, bass, sax, didj etc.

Could not put it into a FUNK category, but add a little WORLD spice ala didj, and you get world funk.
